Flat Emma goes to Storytime

This week, on Tuesday, I went to Storytime at the library with a bunch of other kids who are 3 or 4 or 5. It was all about fish. We met in a little room in the children's area and there were two librarians and we sang a funny song about pretending to be fish that go swimming and then take a nap and then when we wake up we take showers but then remember that fish don't take showers! And fish don't brush their teeth! And fish don't ride bicycles! And there were some other things that fish don't do but I don't remember what.
And the librarians read a story about a fish that didn't want to share his fish bowl with anybody so he kept eating all the other fish that got put in there with him until he was alone for a long time and when a new fish came he decided they could share and play games together but then the other fish ate him!
And there was a puppet story about a lobster who liked to tease all the fish so he kept telling them there was a shark behind them and they would look behind them and say 'no there's not' and then they would look back at the lobster and scream and swim away because really there was a shark behind the lobster but he didn't know it was there.
