popcorn popping on the ... what is that?
I walk to work as often as I can, and last fall I noticed what looked like a bush full of popped popcorn. I'm not kidding! I had to look really close to figure out that it was clusters of different sized white berries. I didn't have my awesome camera phone last year, so I didn't get a picture. This fall the popcorn was not very thick but I took a picture on my way home Friday. I was kind of hoping that it would get more berries so I could post a really good picture, so I determined to keep an eye on it as I walked past for a while. This morning it was gone! I'm glad I took a picture when I had the chance. Does anyone know what kind of a bush it is?

It's a snowball bush. We have a few at Laketown, too.
Duuuh. Not a snowball bush, a snowberry bush. The leaves look like little mittens.
