Ok, so here's one of my blogging ideas. I'm going through my files of stuff that I decided was worth keeping throughout the years, and sharing some of it online. Here's one that at least my immediate family will appreciate, and maybe some of you others who know my dad will learn something new about him.
In an attempt to promote conversation amongst my siblings and parents, Amber occasionally sends us questions to answer. (At least she did... it kind of petered out after she had her second baby.) Here's the set of questions and my dad's responses for June 2007, when we were all waiting for Harry Potter 7 to come out. (FYI, he's just as big a HP fan as the rest of us are.)
- If you could be any character in HP who would it be and why?
I want to be Nephi. He's a hunk, and Mom says I am too... If hunks out, I want to be an Oscar Meyer wie... uh never mind.
Who? Got to be another name for Satan, so he's bad, right?
- What two people will die in the next book?
Laman and Lemuel were snots and passed on their bad attitudes. They are expendable. Just no more good-guys, or I'll be ticked! I like books with happy endings.
- Bonus Question: Where is that blasted horcrux?!?!?!
I don't want to find any whores... and I think Harry should have high standards too.

Hey Debbie,
Yeah, this is in response to your comment on Russell, I spelled his name wrong the first time, then edited it. It is Russell two ss two ll.
Thanks,
Rob
I figured it was something like that...
Love you,
Deb
bwahahhhahahah....that is seriously so funny! and considering that you're dad isn't a huge talker when we get into huge groups (as we always are with the weaver clan...) that was great! i've got to let my dad read that one, he'll laugh!
Oh Gary! I was going through the Q&A on G&G Weaver from a Weaver reunion binder from forever ago. I can see you dad doing something similar...funny!
hey--when you pushed play on my blog, did the Colbert report play the whole episode or just the Jane Austin clip? i didn't want the whole episode. although the superman bit is funny, too.
I think it played the whole thing. I'll have to go back and try to find the Jane Austin part - I quit watching after the proposition 8 bit.
Lol! I remember that! I miss our questions. *sniff*
What's the plan for Thanksgiving? Do you know?
Those were good time!
I miss our questions too. Maybe we should start back up again?
