Halloween

Halloween means hotdogs and hot cocoa in Uncle John's front yard, and trying to come up with a costume on a par with previous years. This year I pulled a character out of season three of the new Doctor Who: the soldier scarecrow from the episode called The Family of Blood.

(Most folks thought I was going for the batman character or even the Wizard of Oz.)

Here are some of my previous creations

Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus

A brown crayon - yes, that's my own hair

My personal favorite - an idea I got from FamilyFun Magazine

Another FamilyFun Magazine idea

If anyone has ideas for next year, please let me know....

I'm so glad you posted these pictures! I anxiously await your creative costume reveal every year. This year I was really concerned that you weren't at John and Michelle's. Lol!

... and the Alien Abduction one is my fave too. Did you get a picture of last year's Oz costume?

Yes, but I couldn't find it while I was scanning pics for this post. Turns out it was already in digital format. If you want to see it, check out my facebook in a little while. I'm going to create a halloween costumes album.
