merry christmas

Merry Christmas to all my friends and family! It's been a terrific year for me.

I'm still the primary chorister - in my opinion, the best calling in the church. I've also been recently called to be the single adult representative for my ward - appropriate, since I'm single, and an adult. I've only been to one meeting so far, so I'm not really sure what the calling will entail - but it promises to be fun.

In July, the circulation supervisor at the Logan Library retired, and I applied for and was hired for his job. So I'm now no longer a lowly library technical assistant. I'm an Associate Librarian. My new job is very similar to my old one, as far as responsibilities go. I'm still in charge of patron records and meeting room schedules; I'm still the secretary for Library Board Meeting and Bridgerland Literacy Board Meeting; and I still work on the circulation desk. I don't have to come in every morning to print the hold and overdue notices - instead I get come in every morning to count and deposit the money; and now I'm one of the people that gets called when a patron is having problems and the circulation staff can't deal with them. My favorite part of my new job is that now I can afford to have internet access at home. Hooray!

I look forward to reading everyone's blogs and seeing the pictures for the family calendar (hint hint). Have a great year,

Love Deb
