Like many people, I don't have a land-line, just a cell phone, which makes it really easy to screen my calls. If I don't know who's calling, I don't answer. (Read that to mean if I haven't entered the number in my contact list, I don't answer.) And my 'I'm not answering right now' message indicates to my callers that if they don't leave a message I probably won't call them back. Where is this going, you ask? Well, today after church my phone rang, and I didn't know who it was so I didn't answer. A minute or so later it beeped to let me know I had a message, so I listened to it to see who had called. Someone from my ward, I figured, and I was right, but the message was so completely not something I was expecting.
"April and I were just talking about you and we keep thinking, 'We should set Debbie and Jed up on a date.'" He's a friend they went to high school with... yada yada. They said that when they talked to him he said, "Yeah, whatever, sounds like fun, but talk to her first." My response was similar, so they gave me his email and I gave them mine to give to him and permission to share my phone number. They have, of course, denied any liability if things should go horribly wrong. I assured them that I would still be their friend, but as they're moving to Arizona soon, they didn't really need to worry about me coming after them for revenge or what have you.
Since I'm sure only a few people read this blog - namely some of my family and a few good friends, all of you probably know about the experience I had last fall when another friend wanted to set me up on a date. Not an experience I'll soon forget, let me tell you, and we'll leave it at that, except to say that no friendships were injured in the making of the experience.
Could be fun... I'll keep you posted.

Please do keep us posted. :)
Oh I hope you have fun
Good luck. :) {I hate it when people get overly excited for me over things I am not overly excited about, so I figured a good luck was appropriate if you are anything like me}. :) Also, your last experience was so unique that I don't think you will EVER have to worry about re-living that again! :)
Thanks Mindy, I'm glad you understand. :) From all I can discover about him through the magic of google, I don't anticipate another experience like the last one.
Ha Ha Good luck!
