AUGUST - again

August 31st - Tuesday evening.  I walked out of my apartment to go grocery shopping just as it started to rain.  When I came out of the store, it had apparently just stopped raining.  It hadn't rained very long, just enough to get everything thoroughly wet, but not long enough for the air to cool down.   So when I came out of the store, the first thing I noticed was that the air was very hot and muggy.  In my head I started to grumble about it, since I'd much rather be cold than hot.  Then, I looked up and saw this:

My phone couldn't quite get the complete width, but I could see both ends.  It was awe inspiring.  This is, of course, a dim reproduction of the real thing, but I hope you've seen a real one of your own and that this can remind you of the glory.
